We’re thrilled to introduce Woodhay Whisper, our latest addition to the team, sourced privately on 2nd July for just £6,000. She’s a sharp, sound, and well-handicapped filly with a proven All-Weather profile – and a tailor-made candidate for a crack at the lucrative ARC All-Weather Bonus.

This time, she’ll be trained out of Newmarket by Jack Jones, a progressive young trainer we’re excited to work with.

💰 How the ARC AW Bonus Works

  • The ARC All-Weather Bonus runs from late October to mid-April.

  • Horses earn points in qualifying races at ARC tracks: Southwell, Wolverhampton, Lingfield, Newcastle.

  • You can run up to 3 times per month.

  • Points are awarded based on finishing position:
    🏆 5pts for a win, 4pts for 2nd, 3pts for 3rd, and so on.

  • These points build into a season-long leaderboard, with prize money paid out to the top 20 horses:

    • £100,000 to 1st, scaling down to £10,000 for 20th.

  • Monthly prizes are also awarded to the highest scorers each month.

This is a competition that rewards sound, consistent horses – and that’s exactly what Woodhay Whisper is built for.

🔹 The Opportunity

Woodhay Whisper is currently rated 60 but was previously rated as high as 72 when trained by Tom Ward. She’s now with Max Young, whose overall strike rate is just 4% – a yard we believe we can significantly improve upon with a change in scenery and a fresh approach.

She’s shown clear ability on the All-Weather, particularly over 6f, where her record reads:

2nd – 3rd – 1st – 2nd

That’s exactly the kind of consistency and durability required to succeed in the ARC Bonus Series.

🔹 The Plan

  • Give her a 6-week break after a long spell of racing since April 2024

  • Return to training with Jack Jones as a fresh, re-energised filly

  • Get fit with a few prep runs (turf or AW)

  • Launch her AW Bonus campaign in late October, targeting consistent runs through the winter

She’s a keen-going sort but still finishes strongly – very similar to Ormolulu, who benefited greatly from a change of stable. We believe Woodhay Whisper can follow a similar upward curve.

✅ Why Get Involved?

  • Ideal profile for the AW Bonus Series

  • Strong AW form: 2312 over 6f

  • Huge value buy at just £6,000

  • Trained by a progressive Newmarket-based yard

  • Clear potential to climb from her mark of 60 toward the mid-70s

  • Chance to be part of a strategic, prize-focused campaign with a great social and racing experience

Shares in Woodhay Whisper are now available – join the team and take on the AW Bonus with a filly who looks tailor-made for the challenge.
